ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Liverpool signed Salah from Roma for a transfer fee of €42 million back in the summer of 2017. Since then, the forward has scored 134 goals and registered 50 assists in 212 appearances for the club.

Salah has also won four major trophies with the Reds. In terms of this season, the winger has shown no signs of slowing down.

Salah is averaging a WhoScored player rating of 8.07 in the Premier League.

Therefore, we believe that the 29-year-old deserves to be paid accordingly. Going by the aforementioned report, it appears that Salah will be rewarded handsomely for his performances over the years.

Only time will tell if Salah and the club can agree on new terms.
