ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We would love to see the Reds sign Haaland because he is a superb player. The forward has scored 68 goals and registered 19 assists in 67 appearances for Borussia Dortmund’s first-team.

Haaland has also had a solid start to the 2021-22 campaign. The 21-year-old is averaging a WhoScored player rating of 8.51 after five Bundesliga matches.

Due to Haaland’s age, he could lead Liverpool’s forward line for a number of years. Only time will tell if the Reds are genuinely interested in the youngster.
