ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We would love to see Liverpool sign Doku. The winger is a superb talent.

However, the 19-year-old did average a WhoScored player rating 7.07 across the 2020-21 Ligue 1 campaign. The aforementioned figure highlights that there is more to Doku’s game than just goals and assists.

Footage of the Belgian international also highlights that he is a player with serious potential. Liverpool do have an ageing forward line.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all aged between 28-30. Therefore, it would make sense for the club to sign a young forward for the future.
