Foot Mercato are reporting that Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani (24).

Kolo Muani has enjoyed a rapid rise in recent months. The French forward made the move from FC Nantes to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer on a free. After shining for his new club, he was then integrated into Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus squad for the first time in September and handed his debut in a 2-0 Nations League victory against Austria.

After initially missing out on France’s World Cup squad, the injury to Christopher Nkunku afforded Kolo Muani the chance to board the plane to Qatar, and he made his one and only appearance of the tournament against Tunisia. A number of scouts have been sent to Doha in order to track his appearances.

According to Foot Mercato, some of the biggest clubs in Europe are following him. Amongst them are Liverpool and Tottenham, who are described as the most “serious” suitors of a player who only moved to Frankfurt in the summer. Both clubs were interested in the France international this summer, before being beaten to the signing by the Bundesliga club.

However, the two Premier League sides have not been deterred. Foot Mercato report that a meeting took place very recently between Kolo Muani’s entourage and a member of the Tottenham hierarchy in London. However, he won’t come on the cheap. Bild Foot Mercato now report that the German club could look to make as much as €80m on a player that arrived on a free just six months ago.
