Jürgen Klopp has named Champions League hero Divock Origi in his starting XI to face Borussia Dortmund at Notre Dame Stadium.
Liverpool have touched down in America for the beginning of a three-game set that begins against Klopp’s former club.
Rangers loan star Ryan Kent also gets the starting nod as Liverpool have opted for a mix of youth and experience. Harry Wilson will play opposite Kent in a 4-3-3 formation.
Simon Mignolet starts in goal with Joel Matip and Joe Gomez in front of him while Nathaniel Clyne and 18-year-old Yasser Larouci will occupy the full-back roles.
Fabinho, James Milner, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain make up the Reds midfield.
Meanwhile, Lucien Favre’s line-up features American youth sensation Giovanni Reyna and goalkeeper Marwin Hitz in an otherwise strong XI.
