Liverpool and Chelsea ready to do battle over €38m Suso | OneFootball

Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly set to do battle over AC Milan forward Suso in January.

The 24-year-old spent three years at Liverpool between 2012 and 2015 but played just 15 times for the Reds before being sold to the Rossoneri.

After a difficult start to life at San Siro, the Spain international has grown to become one of their key men in attack and has so far this season scored three and assisted a further seven goals in just nine appearances.

And according to both Gazzetta dello Sport and the Mirror, both the Anfield outfit and Chelsea are interested in his services during the winter window.

Suso has a relatively low release clause of €38m in his contract, making him one of the more gettable top-level forwards in Europe.

Milan however, want to keep the diminutive attacker and are currently working on a contract extension for the youngster.
