Tuttosport newspaper claims Liverpool inquired about Juventus star Chiesa in 2023, but the Reds’ interest is still alive ahead of next summer’s transfer window.

Chiesa’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2025, and Juventus will sit down with his entourage in the coming weeks to discuss a potential new deal.

It is no secret that Liverpool have set their sights on the 26-year-old, and according to Tuttosport, the Reds already inquired about the versatile Italian winger last summer but never made an official offer.

The situation could change in the next few months as the Serie A giants will listen to offers for Chiesa if they fail to reach an agreement over a new contract, as previously reported by Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto.

The same goes for Chiesa’s compatriot Moise Kean who will be allowed to leave at the end of the season if he doesn’t pen a new deal at the Allianz Stadium.
