Liverpool flipped their Premier League clash with Norwich City on its head on Saturday.

The Reds need to be winning week in, week out to keep their hopes of catching Manchester City alive, but that looked to be under threat when they surprisingly went 1-0 down at home to the Canaries.

There were very real concerns for Jurgen Klopp’s men when Milot Rashica’s deflected strike left them facing an uphill battle on Merseyside after several key changes were made to the starting XI.

However, if there’s any team in the Premier League that embodies a never-say-die attitude then you can bet that it’s Liverpool – and it didn’t take them long to turn things around.

First, Sadio Mane got the fightback underway with a fine bicycle kick in the penalty area, giving the much needed lift that the Kopites in attendance were baying for.

But just when it looked as though Liverpool had scored what would surely be their best goal of the game, Alisson Becker decided to remind the world of his superhuman distribution skills.

That’s because the Brazil number one amazingly turned provider for Mohamed Salah to score his 150th goal for Liverpool with a Herculean punt from one end of the pitch to the other.

It might not have the same atmospheric punch as their combination against Manchester United in 2019/20, but the assist was arguably even better this time around, so be sure to check it out down below:

Arguably the craziest thing about the goal is that Alisson almost looked to be off balance and in the process of slipping when he casually punted one of the passes of the season into Salah’s path.

And even in a world where the importance of goalkeepers being proficient with their feet is being stressed more and more, it’s nevertheless beautifully rare to see them directly providing an assist.

Well, maybe not so rare when we’re talking about Alisson because the Liverpool star isn’t just good at providing goals, but he’s also got a knack for scoring them as we saw last season.

The 29-year-old is part of an exclusive club of goalkeepers to have scored Premier League goals with Peter Schmeichel, Brad Friedel, Paul Robinson, Tim Howard and Asmir Begovic.

And now he can lay claim to another assist in England’s top-flight, which ultimately proved to be the turning point for Liverpool as they eventually completed the comeback to secure a 3-0 victory.

Even Luis Diaz notching his first goal in the famous red jersey to round off the win couldn’t displace Alisson’s glittering pass as the highlight of the game. Take a bow, son, take a bow.
