Liverpool will be 'haunted forever' after allowing Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum to leave Anfield, but there is likely to be further big-name departures from Jurgen Klopp's squad in the summer, Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor has told GiveMeSport.
The Reds, who sealed a Merseyside derby win over Everton on Monday, are at serious risk of missing out on qualification for European football.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool pocketed £35million when they opted to sell Mane to reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich last summer.

The report suggests the Reds were willing to cash-in on the Senegal international after he had entered the final 12 months of his Anfield contract and Darwin Nunez arrived in a club-record £85million switch from Benfica.
Since heading to Merseyside in a £34million deal from Premier League rivals Southampton, Mane clinched plenty of silverware and found the back of the net 120 times in 269 appearances.
The winger's exit came a year after Wijnaldum ran down his Liverpool contract and joined French giants Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
Having completed a £25million move from Newcastle United, the central midfielder racked up 38 goal contributions over the course of a trophy-laden spell with Klopp's charges.
Taylor believes allowing Mane and Wijnaldum to move onto pastures new was a critical error from Liverpool and another summer clear-out is expected after an underwhelming campaign.
The respected journalist feels the Merseyside giants have failed to adequately replace the duo and they are still feeling the effects.
When asked whether there could be further high-profile Liverpool departures in the coming months, Taylor told GiveMeSport: "Absolutely, because we've seen Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane leave.
"They're in the biggest rut of the Jurgen Klopp era, arguably, so why wouldn't that be the case?
"I feel like Klopp needs to keep a core. The Wijnaldum and Mane sales will haunt Liverpool forever. They just really did not make sense to me.
"I know Klopp's been keen to make an example, with the likes of Philippe Coutinho, of the fact that nobody is bigger than the club. I know Wijnaldum's representatives and the player himself were looking for a contract more reflective of his value to the team. Once he didn't get that, obviously he was shown the door, but I feel like it was a bad decision."
According to Football Insider, Liverpool may be willing to sell Mohamed Salah if a lucrative proposal is put on the table at the end of the season.
The report suggests the Reds are looking to freshen up their squad, but welcoming a series of expensive new signings to Anfield will be out of the question unless at least one big-money sale is sanctioned.
It has emerged that Liverpool are also willing to offload central defender Joel Matip if a bid worth £15million is lodged in the summer.
Meanwhile, transfer insider Dean Jones recently told GiveMeSport that Naby Keita is 'one step outside the door' and is ready to seal his exit.
due to be out of contract in the summer.
