Caoimhin Kelleher 7/10
Easy day for the Irish shot-stopper, who had a back seat as The Reds went on to take the victory.
TAA 8/10
Real Madrid? Play for your boyhood club and become the captain?
Some of the questions going through Trent’s head but today he showed just how good he can be. Yes, it was against League 2 opposition, But how good is the scouser in our team?
Gerrard-esque finish from outside the box. True captains display today from Trent. Sign the contract!
Jarell Quansah 8/10
Back to the Quansah we know, confident on the ball, winning aerial duals and becoming a young Joel Matip. Jarell Quansah is growing in confidence which is what we’ll need over the course of the season.
“BOBBY FIRMINO: BEST IN THE WORLD” DOCUMENTARY | EPISODE 1
Wataru Endo 9/10
Man of the match for me today. I was worried about him playing CB but after watching today and seeing how he can read the game from there, Definitely a player who can be so crucial over the course of this season being able to play in so many positions.
Kostas Tsimikas 7/10
The Greek Scouser thought he might have struggled today having the young lad in front of him, But had an all round sound performance today.
Tyler Morton 7/10
Steady performance from Morton today, few battles won in the middle of the park, one crunching tackle and calm on the ball with a few nice passes played.

Dominik Szoboszlai 7.5/10
Szoboszlai has been missed over the past few games. Nice to see him back out there today. He’s crucial for the style of play that Slot wants. Starting the press and making those energetic forward runs. Just hope he can stay fit and push us forward.
Diogo Jota 8/10
Jota the Slotter is one of the best finishers in England and he brings us so many options going forward. Keeping him fit is one of the key things if we want success at the end of the season. His drive and forward-thinking is what we need to keep creating chances throughout the season.
Harvey Elliott 7/10
For not a right winger as he lacks the pace and struggles a little bit with confidence. This may be due to the lack of game time he’s had over the season, but his footballing brain can win us games this season. I would have liked to see him playing in the number 10 today linking the play together. But Harvey drew the short straw and played out wide today for the Slotter to play in the number 10.
ACCRINGTON STANLEY PLAYERS & MANAGER PREVIEW ANFIELD FA CUP TIE!
Darwin Nunez 7/10
Fan favourite? Most definitely. Wind up merchant? 100%. Goalscorer? Not so much. Confidence lacking but always a good player to watch. With a few chances missed could have got himself on the score sheet today. Still managed to get himself an assist for the 1st goal today. Hopefully, the goals will follow soon.
Rio Ngumoha 8/10
16 years old. Liverpool youngest ever player in the FA Cup. He didn’t look out of place at all, had so much confidence going forward, had fast feet and was always looking to take on his man. If this confidence carries on as he develops as a player, then I think we’ve got ourselves a player to watch in the future.
Subs
Federico Chiesa 7.5/10
1st goal for the club today and I think it’s a sign of things to come. I was a bit surprised when he didn’t start today. But coming on at half time he looked to have a little bit of confidence about him, wanting to take players on and not afraid to have a shot. Which I hope is a sign of things to come for the Italian, as he could be a crucial player throughout the season.
Jayden Danns 8/10
Is it even a cup tie without a Jayden Danns goal? Perfectly executed knee slide in front of the Kop too couldn’t ask for much more. But seriously I think we’ve got a goal scorer on our hands. Hopefully, the goals and confidence will continue with more first-team minutes over the season.
Conor Bradley 7/10
More important minutes in the legs and provided his usual energy down the right-hand side.
James McConnell 7.5/10
Impressive once again from the workmanlike midfielder. Proving to be a reliable option and one that could well attract serious loan interest.
Trey Nyoni 7/10
A late cameo for the talented midfielder but still time to provide the assist for Chiesa’s strike.
