Liverpool were simply too strong for Manchester City in their FA Cup semi-final.

Jurgen Klopp went full-strength for the clash at Wembley Stadium and that decision paid dividends.

Liverpool blew City away in the first half, with a brace from Sadio Mane and another goal from Ibrahima Konate putting them 3-0 ahead before the interval.

City’s decision to play Zack Steffen instead of Ederson proved to be very costly. The American dropped an absolute clanger to gift Mane his first goal.

The Senegalese forward’s second was an absolute beauty, though.

Mane fired home from the edge of the box on the volley and the build-up by Liverpool was a joy to watch.

Trent Alexander-Arnold played a delicious crossfield pass, Luis Diaz had Joao Cancelo on strings and Thiago Alcantara elegantly dinked the ball on to Mane’s right peg.

It was a masterpiece and Liverpool have now uploaded footage of the goal in its entirety from angles that make it look even more beautiful.

When football becomes art!

You can bet that Liverpool fans across the world have hit the replay button numerous times on that video.

The goal proved to be the winner on the day, as City fired back in the second half with two of their own.

Jack Grealish struck just after the restart and Bernardo Silva halved the deficit in stoppage-time, but they proved to be only consolations for Pep Guardiola’s side.

After a famous win over City, Liverpool will now switch their attention back to the Premier League.

The Reds host Manchester United at Anfield on Tuesday evening, before the final Merseyside derby of the season on the weekend.
