Liverpool’s 2023-24 home and away kits have been officially released by the club, while the third kit is yet to have its release date. The Reds and Nike have prepared some interesting designs for the new kits to attract the interest of their die-hard fans.
The home kit set to give a special throwback feel of Liverpool’s historic kit from the 1974 cup-winning squad. Jurgen Klopp’s side are trying to create a modern look of that iconic jersey as a homage to their legend, Bill Shankly’s last season in charge of the club during that year.
As for the away jersey, The Reds and Nike also decided to take inspiration from their past kit, which was from the 1995-96 season. Unlike last season, for the 2023-24 season, Klopp’s side opting a combination of green and white as its base.
Meanwhile, the third kit looks to be a pretty unique one as rumours suggested that it will be a combination of light and dark purple. It’s definitely an uncommon colourway for Liverpool to use as last season they use a dark and light teal combination.

The Merseyside outfit’s 2023-24 home kit made by Nike was officially launched on May 21 much earlier than other Premier League clubs. The new kit maintains its primary red colour as its base with a slight combination of white for the collar, logos and cuffs.
Making the new jersey more special, on the backside, there’s also an addition of 97 emblems being placed in between two eternal flames. That special number honours the people who lost their lives at the Hillsborough disaster.
Regarding its design, Liverpool 2023-24 kit took inspiration from Bill Shankly’s 73-74 FA Cup, especially with the contrasting white collar and cuffs. The new jersey is available for purchase at the club’s official website and Adidas’ stores, retailing at £74.95

The Liverpool 2023-2024 away was officially unveiled on June 30 and it features a combination of green, white, and a slight black touch. The new away jersey is a modern take on the Reds 1995-96 shirt, which has been an all-time fan favourite.
The Red’s away jersey offers an interesting detail, especially with the quarter green part that combines layers of tonal greens – green spark, poison green and pine green. Similar to the home kit, Liverpool’s green and white shirt also added the special 97 badge on the back as a tribute to the Hill borough tragedy.
The new kit is also available for purchase at Nike stores and Liverpool’s official website with different prices as the replica jersey retailing at £74.95 while the authentic kit is at £114.95.

The Merseyside outfit’s 2023-24 third kit is not officially released yet but there have been several leaked pictures of it surfacing online. According to the leaked images, the third kit will have a unique combination of light and dark purple called the space purple colour.
Aside from the purple-based colour, The Reds’ third jersey also added white touches for the logos and finishes. As for its design, the upcoming third kit will reportedly follow the same path as Nike’s 2023 Women’s World Cup teams. One of the most visible details from that design is the V-Panels on the collar area.
There is still no official release date yet for Liverpool’s third kit but it should be unveiled by the club around mid or late August.
Liverpool will start their 2023-24 campaign with a game in the Premier League against one of their potential rivals this season
