FC Barcelona will want to make the best start to life possible under the command of Hansi Flick. The Catalan club cannot afford to slip up at the start of the season, and they will need the coach to pull through to the best of his abilities. However, to make that happen, Barcelona know that he needs some time to adapt.

For that exact reason, Barcelona are adamant about the coach getting ample time to get to know his squad the best he can during the pre-season. However, due to the ongoing international tournaments in both South America and Europe, it is difficult for the Barcelona coach to have all his first-team players at his disposal.

Yet, while he may not have his first-team players at his disposal, he will have some major players from Barcelona quarry. According to Mundo Deportivo, the following eleven starlets will be at Flick’s disposal from the first day of the Barcelona pre-season.

Goalkeepers:

Diego Kochen:

The young goalkeeper will be one of the guarantees for Hansi Flick during the pre-season, and having already been renewed until 2028, it seems that Barcelona has a lot of faith in his abilities.

Ander Astralaga:

While he may not have had a lot of prominence last season, he was regularly in Xavi Hernandez’s first-team squad for matchdays. He is likely to get a chance under Flick as well.

Gerard Martin:

One of the regulars for Rafa Marquez in Barcelona Atletic, the fullback will also now be a part of Hansi Flick’s initial squad for the preseason.

Already a mainstay of sorts for the first team, Hector Fort is a player of proven quality. He will be present under Hansi Flick too for the start of the first-team pre-season, and the Barcelona fullback will be looking to impress the new German coach as well.

Mikayil Faye:

The Senegalese defender may have ended up at Porto a few days ago, but it seems that the young defender will now be staying at Barcelona and will get his shot under Hansi Flick.

Midfielders:

Marc Casado:

The captain of Barcelona Atletic and one of the club’s most devoted youth players, it seems that it may now finally be his chance to show his quality at the highest level.

A player of great quality and a versatile profile, FC Barcelona has a lot of faith in his abilities and his progression. He will surely be a player worth keeping an eye on for Hansi Flick.

Unai Hernandez:

While the promising youngster may only be contracted until 2025 to Barcelona, his intention is to stay at the club beyond that date but he has to impress Flick first.

Aleix Garrido:

The dynamic young midfielder may have suffered an unfortunate injury near the end of the season, but he is now fully recovered and will be looking to make the most of his chance with the new Barcelona coach.

A prodigy from Germany, Hansi Flick, and his assistants have a lot of hope for Noah Darvich. His participation in the pre-season will give the coaches a better chance to see his quality for themselves.
