Two Eintracht players went head to head as France beat Denmark 2-1, earning the reigning world champions a place in the last 16.

Jesper Lindström came off the bench in Denmark’s first World Cup group game against Tunisia but he was in the starting line-up against France, playing 85 minutes. Denmark competed well for an hour before Kylian Mbappé broke the deadlock, later scoring another in a 2-1 triumph for Les Bleus. The result means France and Randal Kolo Muani, who was an unused substitute once again, have already booked their place in the last 16.
