Linda Caicedo, nominated for FIFA Puskas Award for Best Goal | OneFootball

Linda Caicedo has been nominated for the 2023 FIFA Puskas Award for the best goal. The madridista's goal for Colombia against Germany at the last World Cup, which was voted the best goal of the tournament, has earned her a place in the running for the award.

A panel of experts has chosen the best eleven goals scored between 19 December 2022 and 20 August 2023. The winner will be picked by an international jury made up of FIFA legends and fans registered on FIFA.com. The voting deadline is 10 October and the winner will be announced at the next FIFA awards gala.

More nominations Linda Caicedo is also among the 16 nominees for The Best FIFA Women's World Player of the Year Award 2023  and has been nominated for the 2023 Ballon d'Or. The other nominees for the Puskas Award are: Álvaro Barreal, Julio Enciso, Seong-jin Kang, Sam Kerr, Brian Lozano, Guilherme Madruga, Iván Morante, Nuno Santos, Askhat Tagybergen and Beatriz Zaneratto.
