Scorers: Barcola 56′
Despite PSG seeing the bulk of the possession and the scoring chances in the opening exchanges, Lyon were gifted a chance to take the lead just before the break.
A scramble in the box saw Gianluigi Donnarumma take out Alexandre Lacazette, forcing the referee to award Lyon a chance to score from the spot.
The subsequent spot-kick leathered into the post by Lacazette, and as a rebounded effort was fired high Lyon a marvelous chance to take the lead go begging.
The visitors would not spurn their chance after the break however, as Bradley Barcola took advantage of some schoolboy PSG defending to tap home a ball slid across the face of goal, and snatch a lead for Lyon.
Despite their attacking might, PSG were unable to mount a late comeback to take anything from the game, as the final whistle finally came with a chorus of boos from the home crowd.
