Serie A giants Napoli are keen to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia soon but their move for Edon Zhegrova is being held back by Lille.
The Partenopei do have interest in Alejandro Garnacho but the move is not taking off because of Manchester United’s demands. They are now shifting attention to other targets and Zhegrova is a key target.
Daniele Longo has reported that contact between Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna and Zhegrova’s entourage has been ongoing for many days and the player is very keen on the move. He sees a move to the club as a step forward and if it were all down to him, he would be a Napoli player already.
But Lille’s stance has thrown a spanner in the works. They do not want to lose him in January despite the fact that his contract runs out in the summer of 2026. They want to sell the player in the summer and want to finish the season with him.
