Lille, Strasbourg and Nice interested in loaning Chelsea’s Datro Fofana | OneFootball

According to Foot Mercato, Lille OSC, Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace, OGC Nice and Augsburg are all interested in bringing in Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana (20) on loan this summer.

Nice made a move to bring the Ivory Coast international in on loan in January but to no avail. However, the two parties have remained in contact over a potential deal, and a move to Les Aiglons this summer is a possibility. Fofana himself would prefer a move to Nice, over the other possibilities.

However, with BlueCo’s purchase, there is a chance that Fofana will join Chelsea’s new partner club, Strasbourg. L’Équipe first revealed Les Alsaciens’ interest in the former Molde forward earlier on Friday morning. Given that Lille are set to lose Jonathan David this summer, Les Dogues are also keen on the forward, who is still part of Chelsea’s long-term plans. Bundesliga side Augsburg are also interested in loaning the striker, whose first-team opportunities next season may be limited, this summer.
