Ligue 1 outfit Lille have now rejected Inter’s opening offer for their centre-back Tiago Djalo.
The Nerazzurri see Djalo as one of the replacements for Milan Skriniar, who has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer; even though Inter have rejected a bid from PSG to sell him this month.
Marco Conterio has reported that Skriniar will indeed join PSG in the summer and Djalo is seen as a potential replacement. Recently, Inter offered a fee of €20 million plus bonuses of €5 million to sign the former Milan and Sporting player, since that is the money Inter are looking to earn from a potential sale of Skriniar this month.
But Lille have pegged back that approach, as they want about €30 million to €35 million to sell the Portuguese centre-back.
Djalo had joined Lille from Milan in 2019 and this season, he has made 18 Ligue 1 appearances and has also scored two goals.
