Last weekend, Lille OSC left it late, scoring twice in injury time to record a Derby du Nord victory over RC Lens. Les Dogues have had a challenging run of games, but have come out unscathed from visits to AS Monaco, Atlético de Madrid, and their arch-rivals.
However, Lille will be forced to face another tricky game as they host Olympique Lyonnais tonight. Bruno Génésio will likely not make many changes from last weekend’s starting eleven, with the only difference being Aïssa Mandi replacing the suspended Alexsandro.
Gabriel Gudmundsson had been a doubt after he was forced off the pitch with a knock but the left-back looks as if he will start tonight which will help alleviate some pressure on what has become an increasingly thin squad wracked by injury problems.
