Lille predicted XI v Aston Villa: Edon Zhegrova a doubt, Angel Gomes returns | OneFootball

Key man Edon Zhegrova is a doubt to face Aston Villa when they visit the Stade Pierre-Mauroy to face Lille OSC in the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final on Thursday.

Zhegrova has been one of Lille’s standout performers this season, however, they may have to do without him against Aston Villa. The Bosnian winger suffered an ankle injury in the first leg, during which Les Dogues lost 2-1. It is touch-and-go as to whether he will be fit to start and Paulo Fonseca, along with Lille’s medical team, will make a last-minute decision on Zhegrova.

Angel Gomes returned last week against Aston Villa, coming off the bench in the defeat at Villa Park. One week later, he is fit to start for Les Dogues.
