Ligue 1 side Lille are now interested in the possibility of signing Roma’s Eldor Shomurodov on a permanent basis this month.
Sky Italia have reported about the situation of the Uzbek footballer, stating that his situation is still uncertain at the Giallorossi. Torino did hold a meeting with Roma in an attempt to talk and seal the deal for the player. But it didn’t lead to an agreement between the two sides.
There was a meeting in Milan between the technical director of Torino, Davide Vagnati , his right-hand man Emiliano Moretti , and the general manager of Roma Tiago Pinto. Torino have not changed their position by offering Roma a loan with the option to buy, but could also consider introducing the obligation that would only be triggered on the achievement of important objectives.
But Lille are now also in the race and they want to sign him permanently and are ready to offer between €13 million and €14 million. As of now, the ex-Genoa man would prefer staying in Italy.
