Ligue 1 clubs continue to show considerable interest in Cercle Brugge forward Kevin Denkey (23). According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, scouts from RC Lens and Lille OSC hopped across the border to watch the Togo international last weekend.

Denkey has registered an impressive 26 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions this season. That form is garnering considerable interest from France. AS Monaco are looking to leverage their ownership of Cercle Brugge in order to bring Denkey to the Principality club. Tavolieri has previously reported that Les Monégasques want to make the Togolese forward an “irresistible” offer to convince him to move to the Stade Louis II.

However, Monaco are far from the only interested party. Lens and Lille are also interested and recruiters from the two northern clubs watched Denkey once again on Sunday. Olympique Lyonnais, who may lose Alexandre Lacazette in the summer, are also a reported suitor.
