It's been claimed for a while now that the summer window of 2022 could be a busy one for Liverpool as they look to refresh their squad.

The club has a number of players who are in their prime years at the moment but, in the next few seasons, that will soon not be the case as the natural decrease in ability begins to set in - at least for some.

The need to begin the rejuvenation of the squad this summer coming has been reported widely, then, and we could see some new attacking faces in the near future.

According to The Athletic, there are a number of players that might fit Liverpool's profile in terms of new footballers for the final third, and Amine Gouiri at Nice could be among them.

The report from The Athletic isn't necessarily looking to seriously link Liverpool with lots of players but is rather suggesting some names who could feasibly be arrivals at the club.

The Reds have some top names in their ranks but that will not be the case forever and replacements will be needed.

Hopefully, the Reds will be able to find some good new signings to come in.
