Nantes 1-1 Marseille

Nantes were one goal down and one man down before the 10th minute, but they miraculously salvaged a point thanks to Mostafa Mohamed. The Egyptian striker was also the hero last week when Les Canaris earned a draw against Monaco.

Brest 0-0 Rennes

Rennes’ underwhelming start to the season continues. The two sides couldn’t be separated in the first Breton derby of the season. Bruno Genesio’s side now have three draws in their opening four games.

Monaco 3-0 Lens

Monaco’s impressive start to the season continues. Thanks to their 3-0 hammering of lowly Lens, they retain their position at the top of the table and have now scored 13 goals in their first four matches. They are also yet to concede at home.

Toulouse 2-2 Clermont

Toulouse looked to be cruising. 2-0 up after just 14 minutes, Le TéFéCé looked to have already secured the points, but Clermont dominated possession and fashioned chances with increasing frequency and deservedly salvaged a draw in the 96th minute.

Le Havre 3-0 Lorient

Le Havre secured their first victory since their return to the French top-flight. It was also Les Ciel et Marine’s biggest victory in Ligue 1 since 10th November 1999.

Metz 2-2 Reims

Teddy Teuma was once again on the scoresheet for Reims, but Will Still’s side didn’t take all three points as Metz started life without Georges Mikautadze with a draw.

Lille 1-0 Montpellier

Yusuf Yazici’s goal in the 2nd minute proved the difference, as Lille bounced back from last weekend’s heavy defeat. Kelvin Yeboah looked to have salvaged a late equaliser, but his strike as correctly ruled out by VAR for offside.

Nice 2-0 Strasbourg

Francesco Farioli got his first victory as manager of OGC Nice thanks to goals from Youcef Atal and Terem Moffi. Les Aiglons therefore continue their unbeaten run and secure another clean sheet in the process.

Lyon 1-4 PSG

Blanc is hanging by a thread at Lyon. His side were outplayed by PSG, although the scorelines wouldn’t have looked quite so emphatic had Lyon taken more of their chances in what was an exciting and open game. Kylian Mbappé bagged a brace, whilst Marco Asensio and Achraf Hakimi also got on the scoreline for Luis Enrique’s side.
