Ligue 1: L’Equipe’s team of the week for matchday 2 features one PSG player

As after every championship match, L’Équipe has established its dream team for the 2nd day of Ligue 1 2025-2026 which took place this weekend (find the results and standings here). With its 1-0 victory against Angers at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain sees 1 of its players selected.

Fabian Ruiz (29-year-old midfielder) is not a surprise in this dream team, since he was valuable in the game and is the scorer of the victory. This obviously helps to make an impression and stand out. It's hard to see which other Parisian could have been selected. PSG won rather quietly, except that it didn't particularly shine either. While other teams and players in Ligue 1 were able to achieve more notable performances. All the better, it's a championship with beautiful qualities.
