The LFP, the governing body of French football’s professional leagues, has announced that it will hold a meeting tomorrow for its disciplinary commission to take action on yesterday’s crowd trouble during the Derby du Nord between Lens and Lille.

The match notably saw a pitch invasion at half time on the part of Lens fans to confront the away end, in which tension between the two sets of fans notably led to seat-throwing. Riot police eventually intervened to push the supporters back, with the match resumed with increased security presence. Six people sustained minor injuries, according to L’Équipe.
