LFP PRESS RELEASE: Minute's silence ahead of L1 R9, L2 R11

This weekend, the LFP and the entirety of French professional football will join together to pay tribute to Dominique Bernard, victim of a terrorist attack in Arras; to the two Swedish supporters who lost their lives in another terrorist attack, which occurred during the Belgium-Sweden match; and to the many innocent victims of the tragic events in Israel and Palestine.

Before kick-off in Ligue 1 Uber Eats Round 9 and Ligue 2 BKT Round 11, a minute's silence will be observed in tribute to Dominique Bernard, the French teacher who was stabbed to death on Friday 13 October at the Lycée Gambetta-Carnot in Arras; to the two Swedish fans who attended the Euro 2024 qualifier between Belgium and Sweden and were killed by a terrorist in Brussels on Tuesday 16 October; and to the many victims of the recent tragic events in Israel and Palestine.
