Manchester City welcomed Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn all three points at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian club made a good start to the game and scored the opener in the 24th minute thanks to Jack Grealish’s effort. Pep Guardiola‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Rico Lewis doubled the home team’s advantage in the 54th minute. However, Jean-Philippe Mateta got a goal back for the visitors in the 76th minute before Michael Olise equalised for Crystal Palace from the penalty spot in injury time. The contest finished with Man City being held to a lackluster 2-2 draw at the Etihad.
