Lewandowski Gets 8.5, Fati With 8 | Barcelona Players Rated In Comfortable Win Vs Villarreal

Barcelona welcomed Villarreal at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points at home. The Catalan outfit made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 31st minute courtesy of Robert Lewandowski’s goal. The Polish striker scored again just four minutes later with a great strike before Ansu Fati put the contest to bed in the 38th minute when he scored from close range. Barca were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Xavi’s men sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and earned a comfortable 3-0 win in front of their home fans.

GK: Marc-André ter Stegen – 7/10
The German keeper had to make just one save in the game and secured an easy clean sheet at home.
RB: Sergi Roberto – 7/10
The Spanish talent earned the ball back once and was accurate with his passing.
CB: Jules Kounde – 7/10
Kounde did what was required of him at the back and earned an important clean sheet at the Nou Camp.

The Spaniard earned the ball back three times and distributed the ball really well from the back.

LB: Jordi Alba – 8/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back and managed to create some inviting chances in the final third. Alba has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Gavi – 7.5/10
Gavi was accurate with his ball distribution and ended the game with an assist to his name.
CM: Frenkie de Jong – 8/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and made two good runs with the ball.
CM: Pedri – 7/10
The Spanish sensation did his fair share of defending but lacked quality in the final third.
RW: Ferran Torres – 7/10
Torres had a few bright moments in the Villarreal half but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 8.5/10
The Polish striker was unstoppable in the first half as he scored two quick-fire goals which gave Barca an ideal platform to go on and snatch the win.
LW: Ansu Fati – 8/10
Fati was a constant menace in front of the opposition goal and made the points secure for Barcelona by getting his name on the scoresheet in the 38th minute.
