Leverkusen's initial bid for Ben Seghir rejected, Dortmund monitoring situation

Earlier this morning, August 18, Bayer Leverkusen had their first bid for Eliesse Ben Seghir rejected by AS Monaco.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that negotiations will continue and new proposal is expected soon.

Borussia Dortmund, also interested in the principality club's talent, called in last 24 hours to be informed on situation.

Unlike Leverkusen, however, BVB have not yet submitted a concrete offer to AS Monaco for the 20-year-old.

Leverkusen's initial bid was believed to be an offer of €25million - the Ligue 1 side is asking for up to €40million.

During the 2024/25 campaign, Ben Seghir made 33 league appearances for Monaco, providing 6 goals and 3 assists.
