Twitter reaction: Some Tottenham Hotspur fans react to 5-0 win over Norwich City in the final game of the campaign

Taking to Twitter, Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted to the 5-0 win against Norwich City and expressed their happiness regarding their club’s performance on the final matchday of the 2021/22 campaign.

Spurs managed to secure a fantastic Premier League victory over the Canaries tonight, playing in front of a Carrow Road crowd that had to endure the home team being run ragged for 90 minutes.

Antonio Conte’s men gave the away supporters the perfect send-off before the end of the season, putting in a five-star display. Norwich will now head back down into the Championship, with their relegation from the top-flight being confirmed a few weeks back.

The result saw Tottenham clinch fourth place in the league table, thereby confirming their return to playing in the Champions League once again in the upcoming season. They ended the campaign by finishing two points above Arsenal, who were also chasing UCL qualification.

Commanding performance from Spurs

Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-Min were the stars of the show, scoring a brace each. Harry Kane added one more to his goal tally for the season, as the Lilywhites thumped five goals past a sorry Norwich side.

Son’s double also saw him clinch the Premier League Golden Boot for scoring the most number of goals this term. He shares the prize with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who also managed to get on the scoresheet for his team tonight.

After a season of mixed results and wildly inconsistent form, Tottenham managed to end the campaign on a high and secure European football next term. This is a massive upgrade from last season, where they finished seventh and could only qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Conte has come in and worked wonders within such a short span, and supporters will be looking with optimism to the upcoming campaign. It will be the Italian’s first full season in north London and will be aiming to win silverware with the team.

With the final game of the season wrapped up and ending on a good note, let us now see how Tottenham fans reacted to this loss on Twitter.
