Seventeenth European Cup final Real Madrid are in the European Cup final for a seventeenth time. Their record to date reads an incredible 13 titles in sixteen attempts, giving the Whites an 80% success rate. They have made more final appearances than any other club and Di Stéfano's squad came out on top in the first five editions between 1956 and 1960. La Sexta then came in 1966 when they beat Partizán.

Juventus were the opposition when the Whites won La Séptima in Amsterdam in 1998 (1-0). In the following years, La Octava would come against Valencia in Paris (3-0) and La Novena against Bayer Leverkusen in Glasgow (2-1 in 2002).

Recent titles In 2014, led by Ancelotti, the team got their hands on La Décima in Lisbon and in 2016, again against Atlético, Real Madrid lifted La Undécima in Milan. In 2017, they clinched La Duodécima in Cardiff when they beat Juventus and in 2018, they got the better of Liverpool to secure La Decimotercera.
