The pacey full-back has made 76 Bundesliga appearances since moving to Germany from her native Brazil, via a spell in Norway. Santos, who initially joined SC Sand before signing for Eintracht in 2019, also has over 40 international caps to her name.

After tearing her cruciate ligament in March 2020, the 27-year-old has fought her way back to fitness for club and country and was recently restored to the starting line-up by Eintracht head coach Niko Arnautis.

“I fit in very well in the city and in the team”

“With Letícia Santos, another very important player has committed her future to Eintracht for two more years,” said sporting director Siegfried Dietrich. “She’s a cornerstone of this young team and a model athlete on the pitch, but also a great team player and great character off the pitch.”

“I’m very happy to continue being a part of this great team and to be able to contribute to our success at Eintracht,” added Santos. “Our big objective is to reach the Champions League and we’re all fighting for that together. I’ve felt very much at home in Frankfurt right from the start, and feel like I fit in very well in the city and in the team.”
