It was one-way traffic as the USA dominated Geodis Park with 13 shots to seven, and a handful of goals to show for it.

The hosts made their presence known early on and virtually put the game to bed immediately with the gap too big for Ghana during the second 45 minutes.

Gio Reyna netted his first USMNT goal in two years after drilling home a deflected ball in the box minutes almost right after kick off.

Captain Christian Pulisic then scored his second of this international break with a penalty as the floodgates opened.

New-signing Folarin Balogun then capitalised on a defensive miscue, spun around and blasted home another. It was three goals in 12 minutes as Ghana were being toyed with.

Reyna then secured a brace after pulling off a brilliant free-kick routine in the box for the hosts’ fourth before half-time.

The visitors will be upset with their inability to threaten the USA despite most of the possession. Iñaki Williams and Mohammed Kudus notably fell short of the mark.

Gregg Berhalter, meanwhile, will be extremely pleased to have his attacking line truly thriving.
