Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané is wary of comparing his partnership with Serge Gnabry to that of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry, despite his strong start at the club.
Sané and Gnabry combined to devastating effect in their opening 2020/21 Bundesliga fixture, directly contributing to six goals in their 8-0 win over Schalke.

But the 24-year-old admits that both players have much to prove before they can claim to stand alongside two Bayern greats.
“I really like Sanabry very much!” he told Sportbild. “But I’m not yet going to allow comparisons with Robbery.
“The two of them (Robben and Ribéry) shaped the club for a whole decade on a world-class level.
“For us, only one game in the FC Bayern jersey went really well for now.”
The treble winners face Sevilla in the European Super Cup on Thursday.
