Leroy Sané catches the attention of Barcelona and Real Madrid | OneFootball

As reported by Sport Bild, Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané has attracted the interest of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Currently, the 27-year-old is enjoying the form of his life with Die Rekordmeister after an underwhelming three years at the club. However, with six goals in ten appearances in all competitions this season, Sané has often been the difference maker for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Nevertheless, while it may seem as though the former Manchester City winger has only just kicked into gear in Bavaria, it could be his last season with the record champions. Sané’s contract is set to expire in 2025, meaning that if Bayern were hopeful of receiving a fee for their in-form forward, they would have to sell next summer.

It is understood that both Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are considering swooping in for the 27-year-old, who looks to have found his enjoyment on the pitch once again. A feeling that his teammate Joshua Kimmich would emphasize by saying: “He shows a joy of playing that is contagious and makes you want to play along. I hope it lasts for a long time.”

Regardless, with Sané’s contract running down, Bayern have not begun negotiations. The summer of 2024 will be pivotal for Sané, who will either sign an extension or make a move away.
