Leon Mukumbira has now signed for Newcastle United.

The exciting young attacking player moving to Tyneside from Peterborough.

Leon Mukumbira has been making rapid progress in the younger age groups at Peterborough and has been much sought after by many clubs.

Newcastle United though, once again succeeding in attracting another potential star of the future.

Leon Mukumbira attended an FA talent ID camp for players eligible to play for England under 15s and Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony has regularly spoken of his frustration at losing some of the club’s most gifted young players for relatively meagre compensation fees.

The search for top talent in English academies continues for NUFC.

Great to see Newcastle United continuing to invest time and money in the future, with an ongoing series of promising younf=g signings from other clubs.
