Leny Yoro rates Manchester United teammate’s fashion choices | OneFootball

Manchester United added teenage defender Leny Yoro to their ranks at the start of the window, in a transfer that is widely regarded as a somewhat of a coup for the new regime under INEOS.

Wanted by Real Madrid, United managed to poach the young man from Lille and despite an injury picked up in pre-season delaying his start in a red shirt, big things are expected from the 18-year-old.

The Frenchman has been getting to know his new teammates and was recently asked to judge some of their recent fashion choices.

The viral clip on X for soccer.com started with Mason Mount’s efforts in a photo shoot which Yoro was impressed with. “Very good,” said the Frenchman.

Alejandro Garancho was next up with his choice of footwear getting the green light from the new United man.

“That’s a good one. With the Timberland (boots). Yeah, I like it,” said Yoro.

Victor Lindelöf’s casual black and white shirt and shorts combo was rated as “very good for the holidays” from Yoro, similar to Marcus Rashford attire later in the clip.

Luke Shaw’s blue jacket a trouser two piece wasn’t something Yoro would wear himself but he admitted it looked “good” on the Englishman.

Recently departed Hannibal Mejbri was almost perfect but for his choice of glasses. “I like it, but the glasses, I don’t know,” Yoro grinned when judging the Tunisian.

Erik ten Hag’s formal United suit was labelled as “class” from the centre-back before he finally passed a modest judgement on his own gear.

The funniest moment came when Yoro was shown Rasmus Hojlund in a grey polo neck jumper. He was lost for words before the caption “confused” came on the screen.

Another thing to note from the interview is the young man’s English. Yoro looks comfortable with the new language which can only help with the bedding in period at Old Trafford.

The muscle injury picked up on Tour will rule him out until Christmas but Ten Hag will be desperate for his new man to get his United career up and running in the New Year to help his team for the business part the season.
