Lens refuse offer for Facundo Medina from José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, RC Lens have rejected an offer from Fenerbahçe SK for defender Facundo Medina (25).

Fenerbahçe have been very interested in Les Sang et Or’s defensive players this window as they tried to convince their French counterparts to part ways with Medina after having their €16 million offer for his teammate Kevin Danso (26) rejected.

Lens unwilling to accept Facundo Medina’s departure

Foot Mercato writes that Lens have no intention of allowing Medina leave this winter. The club have also very reluctant to let Danso walk, although it’s been previously reported that an offer above €20 million could make the club reconsider.

Lens have already accepted one key part of their defence will leave this winter with Abdukodir Khsuanov (20) extremely close to a departure to Manchester City and it would be surprising to see the club allow another component to exit midway through a campaign where they are only three points of a Champions League place.
