RC Lens have struggled with consistency this season and shock defeats have had a tendency to creep into Franck Haise’s side meaning as the season comes to its close the club still stand on the outside of the Champions League places.
A loss to relegation-threatened FC Metz was a surprise but not one that will make Haise shift his gameplan around for relegation-destined Clermont Foot. L’Équipe reports that the manager will only make one change from the side that lost on the road last week with Elye Wahi returning to lead the attack in place of Wesley Saïd.
Saïd picked up an injury and will not make the bench for Lens as they look to try and make ground on an OGC Nice side in fifth. Le Gym winning last night against FC Lorient now means that a four-gap has opened up between them and Lens.
