RC Lens midfielder Salis Abdul Samed (25) could be on the move again this summer, with multiple Turkish clubs interested in his services.
The Ghana international returned to the Stade Bollaert this summer after a loan spell at Sunderland. His time in the Championship was marred by a lengthy psoas injury, although he played a role in the Black Cats’ promotion to the Premier League. Abdul Samed remains under contract with Lens until June 2028.
According to a report from L’Équipe, CSKA Moscow enquired about the 25-year-old, but a move to Russia is off the table due to the current geopolitical climate. The strongest interest is coming from Turkey, with Kayserispor and İstanbul Başakşehir reportedly pushing for a loan deal.
Abdul Samed, who made 72 appearances for Lens – including six in the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League – is said to prefer a move within Europe’s top five leagues.GFFN | George Boxall
