Sky Sports report that Lens midfielder Cheick Doucouré (22) is set to undergo a medical at Crystal Palace tomorrow ahead of a move to South London – the Malian midfielder was earmarked as Patrick Vieira’s top target this summer. The defensive midfielder is set to join the Premier League side pending tomorrow’s medical and the final formalities of the deal.
, with Palace have upping their offer to meet Lens’ demands, after a €17m initial bid fell short last week. Doucouré’s Lens contract was set to run until 2024.

Doucouré made 34 appearances last season and formed a crucial partnership at the heart of the Lens midfield with Seko Fofana. The northern club finished seventh in Ligue 1 – narrowly missing out on European football.
