According to information by Foot Mercato, RC Lens have formalised their interest in Armenian international Eduard Spertsyan (24) by making an opening offer to FC Krasnodar. However, it’s being reported by the French outlet that the bid fell short of Krasnodar’s estimations with the Russian side rejecting the offer.

Krasnodar are thought to be reluctant to sell their player and will await a truly special offer for one of their stars who was recently made captain of the side earlier this month. Lens are far from alone in being interested in a player who scored 11 and assisted seven in 33 appearances last season.

Foot Mercato writes FC Girona are interested in the attacking midfielder and could offer Spertsyan a chance at playing in the Champions League, and to a lesser extent Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be looking at the player.

However, Krasnodar are not considered to be a selling team and they have already allowed one of their stars Matvey Safonov (25) to leave this summer for Paris.
