Origi's current contract is due to run until 2024, and the report states that Lens are keeping tabs on developments over his future at Anfield.
The 26-year-old signed a new contract at Liverpool in 2019, and made his first appearance of the season in the win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Lens will seek a loan deal in January for Origi.
