Lennon Miller has quickly emerged as one of the most highly-rated talents in Scottish football. At 18 years of age, he has established himself as a regular in the middle of the park for Motherwell and also captained the club on a few occasions. That has seen him being linked with teams like Celtic, Rangers, Liverpool, Lyon and plenty of others.

Where does Miller want to go next though? The youngster seems to be in a position where he can pick his destination.

Celtic fans will be hoping that they are able to bring in one of the brightest talents we have seen in Scottish football for a while. But unfortunately it looks like he might have his eyes set on a move abroad.

Neither Celtic nor the Rangers appear to be Miller's first choice at the moment. In fact, Liverpool are not either.

As reported by Born Celtic, a caller named ‘Kevin’ phoned The Go Radio Football Show and said:

"I’ve told you before, I know Lee personally. So I could tell you right now Celtic’s not his number one choice. I’m just going to be honest with you, it isn’t, and neither is Rangers.“His number one choice isn’t even in Britain, that’s all I’ve got to say."

Of course, one is always going to question information provided by a caller on a show. But Mark Guidi had something interesting to add as well, as he said:

"I think Kevin’s information is spot on. Spot on."

Miller is a fantastic talent for sure and it would be considered a major boost if Celtic are able to sign him from Motherwell. But there is plenty of competition for his signature and it would not come as a surprise if the Hoops do end up losing out in the transfer race for the Motherwell midfielder.

The issue is, Celtic do not have a great record in recent years when it comes to developing youngsters and turning them into regular starters. So, it is easy to understand why many might feel they have a better chance of making it at the top level elsewhere.
