Though it has seemed for a while that Ben Chilwell departing Leicester was a foregone conclusion, the 23-year-old has not been playing his best football since the turn of the year.
However, it’s still largely believed that the 23-year-old will depart the club for an enormous fee, with the latest reports from Goal suggesting that the Foxes will look for a fee of around £80m – which would equal Harry Maguire’s world-record fee for a defender that Manchester United paid Leicester last summer.
There’s no doubt that the Foxes have been eyeing up potential replacements and, according to Greek publication Sportime, the latest name to come out is Olympiacos star Kostas Tsimikas.
Tsimikas, who has been rated in various publications between £15-25m, is a 23-year-old Greece international who’s full of pace and extremely attack-minded.
The left-back, who has also been on Arsenal’s radar, has delivered an eye-opening seven assists for the Super League Greece leaders and defending champions.
