Leicester have completed the signing of goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from Danish side Brøndby.
Having had Kasper Schmeichel serve them so well for so long, the Foxes are going back to Denmark for their shot-stopper.
The east Midland side have confirmed the capture of Hermansen on a five-year deal, subject to international clearance.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a stellar career in his homeland, being named Brondbyâs Player of the Season last time out and earning 70 appearances for the Copenhagen side.
âIâm very, very proud to be here,â he Leicesterâs official website.
âItâs a big moment for me and my family and Iâm very happy. Iâm really looking forward to getting started. Leicester is a very big club. It has so much potential.
âIâve played two full seasons for Brøndby. I think I developed in a very good way and Iâm looking forward to taking the next steps with Leicester. I really like to be on the ball. I like to play and be, as much as I can, in the game.â
