While all eyes are on Chelsea’s efforts to sign Elye Wahi, another Montpellier striker in Stephy Mavididi is also now set for a move to the other side of the Channel.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Leicester have reached an agreement on all fronts with the Ligue 1 club to complete the signing of the English forward.

The former Arsenal and Juventus man will move to the recently-relegated Championship side for €7.5m, with the deal also involving a 10% cut of his future transfer fee going to Montpellier. The 25-year-old will undergo his medical with the Foxes tomorrow.

In just short of a century of appearances in three seasons at La Paillade, Mavididi will have scored 21 goals in all competitions. His first two campaigns at the club saw him put away nine and eight strikes respectively, while this past year saw his attacking influence overshadowed by the emergence of Wahi.

According to Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the forward did not travel with the squad today for their pre-season friendly against Clermont.
