Leicester City are eyeing Rosenborg youngster Emanuel Kulego.

The highly-rated teen is on the radar of the Foxes and Steven Gerrard's Rangers.

Yet to make an appearance for the senior side at Rosenborg, the teenager has impressed playing for the Under-16s and Under-19s at the Kerkendal Stadion, along with the national team.

Despite reports in Norway claiming he could be set for a move to England, Kulego penned his first professional contract with the club earlier this summer, and says he wants to make his debut in Norway's top flight Eliteserien.

Kulego told Nettavisen: "I know that some clubs are interested, but nothing more than that. I don't want to comment much more than that, as I've heard a little bit," he told Nettavisen recently when asked about interest from the Premier League.

“It's nice and shows that I have done something good, but I signed a new contract with Rosenborg this summer and will break through here. I want to make my debut in the Eliteserien, that is my goal.

"Right now, I would like to have the opportunity here at home as fast as possible, but I'm not impatient and everything has its time.

"When Rosenborg feel I'm ready then I'm ready. Then we'll see what happens."
